    Hi askingbenitez,

My application to the Florida Board of Nursing is still on process. They're waiting for the CGFNS to approved my credentials.
While FL doesn't seem to have any issues at present in regards to the concurrency rules, they are very tough on making sure on your clinical hours!! Case in point, two of previous years batchmates have been denied their ATT, they were asked to attend a meeting, but still rejected.

There was a poster earlier it seems that was able to get her ATT so I guess it depends on the BON people, it may have been depending on what year you got your degree in as it may be a difference of an hour to several that doesn't meet the FL BON minimum requirements.

Here's a recent posting on another poster's experience: http://allnurses.com/florida-nursing...ng-815407.html Again, I think it depends on where you went in PH and what year that could make or break your FL application.

Item 7) full name & mailing address of the govrnment agency that oversees the colleges and universities in the country where u obtained ur nursing educ: name of agency, address, tel #, fax #. Pls let me know if you guys know the answers here and if you came across these questions in the application form... Any Philippine graduates here that are applying for California LVN? Thanx

What is this? AND why doesn't the person applying know the answers to the questions regarding their foreign education. ARE YOU A BUNCH OF FRAUDS OR WHAT? I am AMERICAN, and I want the American Dream of working as a RN. I have been an unemployed new grad with a qualifying USA education in nursing and I STILL can't get a job! You have a lot of NERVE! Are you going to lose your RN licenses that you should NOT have when they renew. I should get a lawyer and sue the Board of Registered Nursing!

It's not about fraud or faking something. They're asking how to fill up the Declaration of Nursing Education/Licensure form. In item number 6 and 7, the form asks about the government agency that regulates the practice of nursing in the country where the applicant graduated; and about the agency that oversees the college/s and universities where they graduated. They're just making things clear and don't wanna commit mistakes in filling out the form.

I don't think someone will post about such inquiries in this website if they're a bunch of frauds. PRC means Professional Regulation Commission and CHED means Commission on Higher Education. In this time, which is really tough, especially to get a job, I don't think that anybody could do frauds just for the sake of licensure when in fact it's harder to get into a nursing job.

I'm making this post for everybody, and for them to know about the "PRC and CHED" they've been talking about.

Hi everyone, this is my first time to be in this website.. I am just wondering if someone could light up my mind with my current situation. I am a Filipino nurse, currently living in Maryland. I passed the NCLEX RN last 2009 when I was in England. I received a letter from the BON California, that I need to send them my SSN ( within 3 years) in order for them to give me a license, otherwise, they will abandon my files. I moved here mid last year, and I was not able to send it to them on time. I called last Dec 2012, and the lady told me that I just need to reapply, no need to take the exam, since they already deleted all my information ( except the data of me passing the exam) . Its been almost 3 months, and I haven't heard anything from them. I tried to call earlier today, but the line was so busy. I am now a bit worried, hearing about all these issues. I just found out earlier about this new policy.

Is there anyone who have the same experience as mine? Please share your stories.. or any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Some people have had similar issues. I cannot recall the specific thread. Do a search, it should pop up.
