by Mein1009 Nov 10, '12Hi everybody, im confused about these. I'm a permanent resident since sept this year, i want to take the nclex here in nj or probably in ny. My problem is on their site under foreign nursing graduate , it says i need to have cgfns, and toefl. Some of my dads friends (rn) i dont need to take toefl since i'm already a immigrant here. I graduated in the philippines, took the local-rn exam and passed it. I have my lic. Already. Do i need to take the toefl? And cgfns? Thank you very much.

You didnt graduate from an english speaking school nor are you from an english speaking country like USA, England, Australia etc. therefore you will need to take the TOEFL if the BON requests it.
And since you didnt graduate from an american school you will have to go through CGFNS if the BON requires it.loriangel14 likes this.
