New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

World Registration

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

thanks for sharing your CV format. I appreciate this. It Is similar to the one I made, but yours is more comprehensive :)

*I didn't include my parents names and the height /weight.

Has anybody heard about Excel Green Card International? They are currently accepting 100 nurses for Perth.. There are not details actually on what really are the reqts. As long as you are 22-26 years old and doesn't require experience.. I know however that even if they did no made mention about IELTS, it really is still needed.

IELTS is part of the requirements for registration either at this time with the nurses board of WA or with the rest of Australia board (see I never refer as OZ, hate it) AHPRA.

If you are a nurse and want to work in AUSTRALIA you must be registered so then you must have your IELTS along with other requirements needed for registration with either board no matter what any recruitment agency says.

It would also be nice to know were these jobs for inexperienced nurses were for so that the inexperienced local nurses in WA could get experience.

guys,

can i just ask what did u put in the no.6 question in the AGOS-04 form of the NMBA?

i would also like to ask what are the documents that needs to be notarized? does that include the birth cert, passport, diploma and transcripts only? the other documents need not to be notarized? (e.g. original nbi and police clearance, statement of service, etc.)

thanks!!!

Hello,

never heard of that company yet.. my advice though, read PAGE 1 of this thread the long posts of Cioman94.. After reading that, you will now have an idea of how to become an Oz nurse.. The procedures in Perth vs. AHPRA are similar but not the same, similar in the sense that you need to apply to the Board, you need Eligibility letter, and you need BP 2-3mos..

so when you meet or listen to Excel staff then at least you already have an idea and not be fooled by their marketing tricks, sorry to be harsh for the sake of discussion..

i have 2 fruits in my ref, an apple and an orange.. i will tell to my visitor that "i have an apple".. i did not say that "i do NOT have an orange".. but if the visitor will not ask about an orange then i will not tell him, if he ask then i'll tell.. thats the rule of marketing, as a client you must be well informed so that you will be able to ask the right questions, otherwise they will just tell you that "they have an apple" but will not "tell you that they too have an orange" unless your smart enough to ask them.. see the difference..

after your meeting with Excel, you may go back here and raise your questions, will try to answer them directly, or refer you to a page, or refer you to a website.. just remember, Australia nursing employment right now is not the same when compared 1-2 years ago.. its a lot different, so dont be easily be fooled by sales talk.. i used to work as a salesman of appliances okey..

GOOD LUCK...

If you will submit original copies then ofkors, not notarized/certified.. e.g. ORIGINAL Nbi, police clearance, statement of service..

Must Certified/Notarized the PHOTOCOPY of the following documents. EACH page of your document notarized must bear the signature of the notary public:

Birth certificate, Passoort, Diploma, TOR

Sorry cant remember everything, but if you can enumerate the other documents then i can answer them easily by saying yes or no..

anyway wahtever.. or you may also ask other forumers..

good luck...

hi! i already got ur SoS. if it's not any trouble, i suggest you post it too here (convert it to pdf), so future readers can benefit from it.

@cioman94

hi! i thought ALL PHOTOCOPIED documents need to be certified/notarized? please clarify... given this requirement, only the CV should be the original one, so no need to certify the CV? pls validate...

moreover, i haven't read anything about submitting the original SoS, unless i've overlooked something...

@cioman94: thanks for the info.. what did u put in question no. 6 in the AGOS-04 form? thnx...

@glioblastoma: i mean "OUR cvs are almost the same" not "ARE" hehe.. sorry :)

il find time to put my SOS here so others can see it. :)

hi!

when we submit our application for the first time, what goes with it are the registration fee, application fee and assessment fee, right? please clarify

registration fee vs application fee: the same or not?

please validate this:

Application for general registration: AUD 115 (is this the application fee or the registration fee?)

application or registration fee: ???

Overseas assessment charge: AUD 220

it looks confusing ahihi. please enlighten me on this one...
