Meeting APHRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines - Page 255

LOE is valid for 1 year only

Hi everyone! :-) i know this question have been asked soooo many times. There's been about a thousand pages of the previous thread but my eyes are hurting from all the reading and I haven't even come close to anything that could answer my questions which are the ff:

1. Can I submit my IELTS, TOR, and Certificate of Good standing to AHPRA first? then the other requirements such as the completed application form in say 5-6 mos time?

2. I also would like to clarify if overseas trained nurses wanting to do a bridging program should fill up the AGOS-40 form?

which ahpra did you apply with and when did you apply? you getting a 2 years validity would be such a blessed one..

I applied at AHPRA perth, WA last july2011 and i got my LOE sept2011. The school part really did took a lot of my time plus my IELTS exam, so by the time I already had my intake my LOE is expiring so i humbly asked for an extension and it was granted also. I told them that I do not want to start from the very beginning and all the time spent gathering my documents will be put to waste,all the sacrifices of my family gathering my papers will be in vain because I was not working in the philippines back then, but I know they deliberate all the applicants asking for extension, my friend also helped me on how to put that all into writing because I know i will only have one shot.

But initially, your LOE is only valid for a year and you just requested for an extension am i right?

Because what the readers are thinking is, you were granted 2 years validity by the time you received your letter of eligibility.. Which is a bit confusing at first. Based from my knowledge, ahpra issues loe which is only valid for a year..
It happened to me as well.. My loe is valid for a year and i just requested for an extension and i was granted for 6 more months.

Yes you need to print the form and fill them out as well.Bring passport size photos with white background and if your passport is with you, bring it.If your passport is in the embassy with your application, bring a copy of the bio page.. Bring a valid i.d.No need for an appointment, just go there directly.I had my medicals at nationwide makati. Im not sure if its the same with st.lukes.Sent from my iPad using allnurses.com

My LOE was granted sept2011 and will expire supposedly this year sept2013, but i asked for an extension and it is now moved to nov2013.

Guys how much would be an estimated pocket money for a stay of 3months there? A decent room and 3 meals a day.thanx!
