0Jan 4, '14 by rEyventhat's what made me wonder too sir.Ceridwyn. since all nursing curriculum in the phil are the same. and must meet the same standards to be eligible to take the board exams. unfortunately, i wasnt able to make an appeal to aphra bcoz of my agencies advice. im going to try and ask my case adviser on monday, i'm just trying to get some opinion. thanks
im currently applying in universities here in melbourne, hopefully i can make it to admission for a bachelor's degree in nursing.
hope they can credit most of my subjects.
so you mean to say that college graduate aphra applicants were approved besides me?
0Jan 4, '14 by ceridwyn GuideBut this is a fallacy all curriculums may be the same but not teaching standards over there, this particular college comes up as being in the lowest 30 percent and has 25 percent passing prc rate, so do they have eerienced teaching staff and research ?It seems likely it has been deemed not a university by AHPRA. Not even tafe/ vocational by Australian guidelines as I said before many get excepted going to 'colleges' from the Phil's but have been deemed a high standard of teaching and passing rates.
0Jan 4, '14 by reindeguzmanHi. Im a newbie here, I just passed OET last Nov. 23 and just starting to comply with the AHPRA requirements. I downloaded AGOS - 40 and found out that i need certificate of good standing from the PRC. Is that the only document that needs to send directly to AHPRA? how about TOR? Thanks for helping me out.
0Jan 4, '14 by rEyvenprobably. i guess so. unfortunately, i thought passing the board exam was enough when i was younger. maybe I should've enrolled in a different college. maybe aphra didn't accepted PCHS as an approved institution. you're probably right. or something went wrong? haha, i guess ill just try to contact my case officer too.
by the way. is it even possible for me to try and submit another application after this? maybe in a different state?
Thank you so much for some enlightenment! ^_^
0Jan 6, '14 by kristine25@aldzbp20: i cant send private messages yet. I'm just about to lodge my visa today. If I'll be able to receive my visa before February 14( that's the start of my bp at IHNA) then i'd be very happy. When do you intend to do your bp?

0Jan 11, '14 by om'sarahhello everyone! i just want to ask regarding the number of days your case officer require you to complete your remaining dcuments? AHPRA NSW gave me only 45 days, some here were given 90 days... is it a case to case basis? they are just waiting for my course syllabus, they received already my cert of good standing. TIA!
1Jan 11, '14 by aila61Quote from funnybanana1989call them. usually it would take more than 2 wks but still give them a call coz thats the fastest way to talk to them good luck!HI to all!!!! I would like to ask anybody regarding job interviews in Australia (New South Wales) specifically in nswhealth.erecruit.com. I was interviewed last 6th of December 2013 for a position on a public hospital. Its almost an hour of phone interview then on the latter part, they asked about my Professional References (to whom they should ask about me) and, asked if I needed a sponsorship. Thats it! It will be 2 weeks then since the interview I havent heard anything from them, I have emailed them twice already. NOW, does anyone here had the same experience? Or (To those who got a job already) How long did it take for you to wait? or for them to decide?. ANY ADVICE?? Thank you, God bless, and Happy Holidays to all!!!
0Jan 13, '14 by reindeguzmanEmployers here will usually email or ring you whether you got the job or not. Asking for your reference is a very good sign.. good luck!
0Jan 14, '14 by sbeattrixQuote from rEyvenhappy new year everyone! it's been a year now since I've last visited this forum. and a year as well since I've gotten my aphra letter.
unfortunately, it's a "refusal". so for a while, I've been searching this forum if the reason for my rejection was valid, but the threads has become way too many.
so the reason that i was rejected was: "I graduated from a College school, which was different from aphra's required University based degree."
Back then, my agency was the one handling everything, but know I'm trying to get hold of my situation.
i wasn't able to contact aphra before because of their advice to just take a different step.
and it's just now that i would like to try and contact my case officer.
A friend of mine told me that aphra may have mistaken my college for TAFE/Vocational?
But I just want to hear your opinion guys.
If being rejected because I came from a College school was a legitimate decision.
(I'm currently here in Melbourne)
Im also from a college school, but the course curriculum proved it otherwise that it is not a TAFE/Vocational. I was only asked about my Pharmacology subject whether was it given as one subject or in between the NCM 101-105. I just needed to give them a letter from the school stating I had my pharmacology integrated within the Nursing Care Management subjects. Hope this helps.
0Jan 15, '14 by donnealnuqueHi, what are the requirements for the letter of eligibility of Ahpra? And where can I send it and how much it will cost? I can't find it in their website. Thank you in advance!
0Jan 15, '14 by akosietohi! thank God i found your post guys can i ask questions on how to process aphra application while i here in KSA?
@nuveao / @machaix --- as of the changes effective 22 Oct 2013, yung cert of good standing MUST be forwarded directly from the organization (saudi council) to Aphra state.Last edit by Silverdragon102 on Jan 15, '14 : Reason: Tagalog removed
