i have received an email from my registration officer and i have some problems with my papers. i hope somebody can enlighten me here.

    First:
just send another notarized copy of your passport

    Second:
    Qualifications
send a TOR and RLE summary with the breakdown of NUMBER of HOURS per subject and a list of your clinical placements.
    eg.
    course units hours
    anatomy and physiology 5 54
    biology 3 40

    Third:
    Professional Reference
submit a new reference from your employer and meet their requirements, similar to a certificate of employment + job description - See more at: http://allnurses.com/nurse-registrat....93EEKZFE.dpuf
    hello TEYANG.

i had the same deficiencies (TOR/RLE and Professional Reference) when I was complying with AHPRA's requirement. For your passport, make sure your copy is correctly notarized (certified true copy, with lawyer details and seal, even a date when the certification was done just to make sure the details are complete). for your TOR and RLE, go to your school and chances are they have received similar requests from other students who have previously applied with AHPRA. They would know what exact documents are being asked for. For your professional reference, the letter should state your relationship with your reference (supervisor, dean, chief nurse, etc) and should state for how long your reference has known you. Also listed in the letter are your duties and responsibilities. To save time, what I can suggest is that you do the letter beforehand and bring it ready-to-be-signed by your reference (that is,if he/she approves it). You may download for sample reference letters, there are numerous that may prove helpful to you. Hope I was helpful as well.

Ei Lani, thank you so much for your reply. Gee, sounds like it's going to be a problem for me as I can only submit those mentioned above at this time. The only time I will be able to submit my AGOS-40 form and other requirements will be around Nov. to Dec. this year and I will already be in Aus before that as I currently work and live there. Can I authorize another person, say my sister, to go to PRC, my university, and IDP, and request them to send my IELTS, TOR, and Cert. of Good Standing to AHPRA for me? So sorry for all these questions. Are u already working as a nurse in Aus? :-)
    Hi Junorossi,

Why can you not send your AGOS-40 now? What hinders you from doing that? Well, your sister can do that for you. Just give her letters of authorization to do those things in your behalf. She has to have a PRC license also if she were to transact with PRC. For your IELTS result, IDP sends the result to AHPRA electronically. It costs only P300. You just have to fill up a form of IDP for that request. You can get a copy of that from your review center or call IDP just to make sure.

As for your last question, I am not yet in Australia. Still hoping to be there this year. I am still waiting for response from the schools I have applied for bridging.

If you have questions, I will try my best to answer.

I can't submit my application as yet as I wanted to finish the contract I have with my present job. :-) I wanted to focus on work as it is a bit stressful and when that's done, I can focus on the AHPRA application. Best of luck with the bridging course. I hope I get to work with u in the future. Thanks again for your help. :-)

    Hi Junorossi,

I suggest maybe 3-4 months before your contract ends, you start with your AHPRA application. It takes an average of 3-4 months to get your Letter of Eligibility. I applied at AHPRA WA. I got mine after 4 months (it should have been 3 months if i sent the additional docs early). It isn't so stressful to process your AHPRA application for as long as you have all the documents they require. I see there's one posted above about the required documents. They only need certified copies of school docs, work docs, registration docs. PRC's Certificate of Good Standing should be original and must be sent by PRC directly to AHPRA. IELTS should be original and must be sent by IDP electronically. It takes an average of 2 weeks to process the Certificate of Good Standing. When you get your Transcripts, kindly request for Course Description that reflects the number of hours and description of subjects. I don't know how you call that in your school. But that's different from Transcript of Records because it's more detailed. By the time you finish your contract, your LOE is ready. Then you can start looking for bridging schools. Oh by the way, some schools even accept applicants with ongoing AHPRA assessment for as long as before the course ends, the LOE is already received.

Money transfer (wire Transfer) refer to their email with Invoice. "Electronic Fund Transfer Bank". If your in the Philippines, BPI (Bank of the Philippine Islands) is most helpful. Theyr the once more "experienced" with this. And they have a direct bank tie up in Australia.

Your philippine pesos will be converted to AUD upon wire transfer. You just need the amount as much as it is when converted to AUD plus wire transfer fees.
