Anybody kind enough to help me out? Thinking of applying for UniSA. Talked to a rep from the university during their exhibit and he told me that no AHPRA would be needed even after completing the course. Is this true? I thought one would need to register with AHPRA to become an RN in Australia? soo confused....

AHPRA is the governing body and unless you register with them once met requirements you can not work as a nurse in Australia

With UNISA's case, you can do the BP with them as long as you have at least 2 years experience. You deal with AHPRA after your BP. By the way, where are you from aubreyR?

Oh okay. I've got 2 years hosp. experience so I guess I can apply with UNISA. I'm from the Phil btw Are you also taking the ARNTP with UNISA?
