World Registration

All my references have, staff nurse mentioned. When I applied to APHRA they did not ask for it.I just submitted the COE.And that was enough.

I hope somebody can enlighten me with this. In the reference letters that you secured, what was written? - staff nurse, staff registered nurse or registered staff nurse? (aside from the position indicated as full-time). Somebody help me please so I can have my documented corrected before submitting it. Thanks in advance :)

a ok THANKS a lot for the insight moonyen2012..Godbless..

Hello nurses! I badly need your help. I have been striving to continue my nursing career. Been applying for almost 2 years now. Last year i applied in new zealand but it didnt went well so i decided to try again in australia. Luckily i got my approval letter last july, however, looking for school for the brdging course has been so difficult that it took me 3months before i got accepted in IHNA. To make this short, the school alreqdy gave me an offer on June 21 but another problem now is my eligibility letter which is expiring on 19 July ,2013... Worst, i got my approval from AHPRA Victoria which surely are not giving any possibility of extensions...im near to giving up, IHNA has put me on waiting list for APRIL 1 Melbourne intake which means there is no guarantee that i can be givin a slot..if anyone out there who is giving up there slot for April, please, please give me a chance to pursue my dream to become a nurse in Australia,.i cant afford to lost all everything that gave up just to get into this.. :-(

moonyen, i can;t pm you.

@shandy- why was it so long for IHNA to accept you? were your documents lacking?, 3 months is too long i believe IHNA is the fastest among the bp schools in terms of application process. well, just follow up the school every now and then, i'm pretty sure there will be some who'll drop their slots for april. Just be patient,. and pray a lot!

Thank you yourprincess..i processed everything from an agency that will support the expenses. They have line me up in other schools which unfortunately declined my applications. It was only this last week of october that they adviced me to apply in IHNA which was really fast and accomodating..hope i will be given a slot..thank you for cheering me up..

I see. what schools did you apply?, did you try on asking ahpra for extensions? some of the forumers here were successful in their attempts. you just have to elaborately explain to ahpra your situation, maybe you'll be given the extension. Or just be diligent in contacting IHNA for a slot in April. Actually, just do both so you'll not regret in the end.

Thank you yourprincess. I already requested from my case officer but as what i expected , she cant grant me an extension.. Others have been granted but not in AHPRA VIC..so sad..well, i think this is the last thing i need to do, to follow up every now & then in IHNA..

yourprincess,i have deleted some messages from my inbox.

You try to inquire for 19th of April intake in Perth. IHNA called me up a couple of weeks ago to ask if I'd like to move my intake on that date but I declined since I already decided for May in Melbourne. They said they still have vacant seats on that batch.
