International Graduates that are successful in applying and taking the NCLEX.

World Registration

Published

Hello everyone!

I wanted to hear the stories of international grads who had the success of getting their ATT from different states.

We know that some states are not as open as other states with international graduates. Mostly due to lack of hours, theories and cases issues.

NRSKarenRN posted: These are states having concerns over concurrent therory and practicum, so I would look at other 37 states to obtain license:

Alabama

Arizona

California

Georgia

Illinois

Kansas

Louisiana

Maryland

North Dakota

Oklahoma

Vermont

Virginia

Washington

If there are international graduates who have had the success in acquiring an ATT and taking the exam please share your story. I believe that a majority of us need a shed of light and regain some hope.

koai19 i to got denied in california and nevada i applied for hawaii as well now just waiting to hear from them.

I have a question. Since you applied.in Hawaii did you purchase the re-evaluation ces report for cgfns? The problem is I can't find the option for reevaluation in the purchase section. Do I have to click on the ces report again?

Thanks yamkins for sharing. Im really hoping that my second application will be enough.. can't give up now.

No problem, Kuyafern!

Don't give up! We've worked hard for so long to give up now.

So, have you looked at how much it might cost if you'd take up the recommended courses (the Med Surg deficiency)?

I also read somewhere that some RN graduates from the Philippines apply for NCLEX-PN first (just so they can work immediately). I wonder if that would make any difference with the application.

I've spoken to someone who had a friend enroll in a private school with clinical and theories for OB and it costs 15,000 dollars.

Thanks for the boost of confidence.

hello yamkins.. congratulations for passing the NCLEX-RN

would just like to ask you regarding how you applied in Illinois?

i knw that I need to process documents through CGFNS through their CES service..

do they require a local license in the Philippines? how long would it take to complete CES service?

i just graduated this year.. and i was also able to take the philippine nle.. and pass.. but i havent got my license since i went here directly after i took the exams..

is there any way i could process my documents to illinois without having a local license?

i wish to be a RN there in Illinois since my relatives have a home health agency business over there.

and also, i already applied for CA and waiting for their ineligibility. ;c

kuya fern,,

Yep, you need to place an order for CES report again., I was about to make a payment for the re evaluation service but it seems that there's something that i must confirm with cgfns, since in the application form in Hawaii, there's a section where the CGFNS id is being asked so the boards can open and check my report online. i'm so confused.

Hawaii should be no problem, as long as you plan to work and stay in Hawaii. Good luck!

did you apply already?

Not yet, I'm still fixing some issues regarding my CES result in Nevada, Just want to make sure that my school didn't make any mistakes in the input of the theory and clinical hours for pedia. Maybe tomorrow I'll apply to hawaii then.

Thanks!!! Yup pretty fast just one week as long as you have your ces report ready plus the fee is cheap. I know I read about nevada. Good thing I did not continue applying there. Where are you applying now?

Diel08 i expedited my CGFNS CES on the 15th and sent in my application and payment of $40 to hawaii should i be hearing anything soon? why was yours so fast did you expedite it and how did you know when they received your application and CGFNS CES report?
