    Hi Diel08.. Ah, same here. I just came back in Phil to finish nursing. I immediately went back here in NY after grad. So, Hawaii doesn't require us green card holders to have local "Philippine" license for us to take their exam? We don't need to have english test too, right?

    Yup they don't require local license and english tests too. Just the ces report and your application plus the $40 fee

    Hi there Mafmanzon, It's good to here that you ordered the right one. Actually the CES request forms I've sent to my school took more than 1 month. Maybe mail was delayed due to the weather in the Philippines within the past months. You should give a week or 2 more after contacting the school or CGFNS. 2 months is a bit long.

    I really don't know about New Mexico right now but Hawaii is still accepting applicants. I suggest waiting for your CVS results because ordering another CES requires more money.

That's my dilemma now since it's more than 2 months from the time that CGFNS sent the request form to my school and up until now, my school haven't receive anything yet. Is that usual? I mean to wait for a document to be received for more than 2 months in a regular mail?

    I'm having second thought right now like what if while waiting for my CVS for NY, I might as well apply to New Mexico or Hawaii. Any advice? Thank you

    Hi Kuyafern! I'm now scared to think to whatever happen with the documents that was sent by the CGFNS to my school, and for the fact that they have already sent it twice. So, I'm thinking that I might as well apply for Hawaii while waiting for my CVS. I have thoughts like "what if" the CVS request form might not be received by my school? I know, more money is involved here.

    If you wish to apply there you should do as you please. And if the CVS does by in time come back and states you are eligible then I would suggest going for New York.
