Hi guys after 2 1/2 mos.of waiting finally I got my eligibility..and also they didn't send me the Declaration of Nursing Program.,maybe it also depends on our evaluator or maybe because they didnt know that I was denied by CABON because I didn't ask them to transfer my documents.

@dragon_lady: Thanks :)

You're welcome:)

Hi everyone! im a BSN graduate from the Philippines, currently residing in California, i applied for NCLEX-RN last August, and til now, im still completing my requirements.. is it possible for me to apply for the LVN licensure even though i havent met all the requirements needed in my NCLEX-RN yet? cos ive read some of the threads here that most applicants for the NCLEX_rN are being denied.. so jsut wondering if I cud do that too

Hey guys! Been reading your posts and it seems we're in the same situation. Got denied by CA-BON and decided to challenge the LVN exam. I waited for 6 months before I got my eligibility. I took my exam last November and luckily passed! :) I feel you guys, and now Im still waiting for my license (hard copy). Been checking the BVNPT site to look for my name but haven't seen my name there yet. It's been a week since I mailed em back the signed NCSBN NCLEX Report together with the license fee. This is my happiest christmas ever because last year, when I got the letter from CA-BON stating that I didn't meet the requirements for the RN exam, 'twas christmas eve. Anyways, you guys also can make it :) Good luck to all of us! :) We just need to take each step carefully and soon we'll be all US Registered Nurses :D

Congrats zhapper2002. Did you ask CaBon to transfer your documents to BVNPT?

Thank you! :) Yeah, I asked CA-BRN to send a copy of my transcript to BVNPT. But I am not recommending the transfer of transcript since my friend who didn't do it (basically she let her school prepare a new transcript and school records for the BVNPT application) got her eligibility in as fast as 3 months. But in my case, it took me 6 months. Pretty long wait. Good luck to you! :)

I haven't got any calls yet from the facilities that I applied for though I am hoping they'll call me. It's really tough to get into an LVN job. How about you? I just finished my BLS CPR course about three days ago since it is stated in most job descriptions. I decided to apply as well for a volunteer work in Red Cross so that I'm doing something while waiting for calls from the job that I applied for. It's like part of the First Aid team. Would you consider a volunteer work? :) Did you take BLS CPR classes as well? It's frustrating that finding a job is much harder than the NCLEX. bahaha but *fingers crossed* I know, we'll get a decent job in these coming days. :p

Hi dragon_lady..congratulations for passing the LVN exam...how was the exam? What books did you use?

Hi..i have a question regarding the declaration form..did you write down all the hospitals that you had your clinicals? And in #8 they're asking for the copy of license...are you a local license holder..coz im not and I was wondering if that could affect my application..thanks for your help...by the way my email address is [email protected]

Hello sheycast!Thank you!I can say the exam was difficult.I used Saunders 5th edition,Kaplan on demand and exam cram.

As for your question,you don't need to have a license,just put N/A or none.I'm telling you it wont affect your application.I don't have a license in the PhilippineS too.

I only wrote 2 clinicals.If you want to write more than 2,then make another copy of the form.
