World Registration

Published

Hi everyone.. I have a problem.. Hope you can help me with this.. I started applying for ETEA last month, got interviewed via phone last week and now, I already have my letter of offer from them. I was given 7 days to pay for the tuition.. By the way, I am for January 2013 intake..The problem is, my letter of eligibility from AHPRA is due to expire on the 26th of October.. Is it possible to ask for an extension from AHPRA? It is stated in the letter that I need to complete an NMBA approved program within the period given to me.. And now, my offer from ETEA is for January 2013.. :( What should I do? Please help.. Will greatly appreciate.. Thanks RNs! :nurse:

It is the first step done by the employer. Check http://www.immi.gov.au

Hi. I'm done with my bp at ETEA. It was good. About the registration, yes i heard that some students took a while before they had their registration but i think it is a case to case basis because some were able to get their registration in 1-2 months. The interview would be fine, you don't have to get nervous. Questions are simple.

Hi.. can I ask if there's a required uniform in ETEA? are you still in the Philippines? tnx

In the classroom, you can wear anything u want. But during the clinical placement, you will be provided with white polo shirts with ETEA print. You need to buy your black closed shoes and black slacks.

It depends on you. No number of days required. You can stay in the Philippines as long as you want. Some students prefer to wait for their registration to be released before they come back here in Au. In my case, I needed to come back early coz of my invitations for job interviews.

Hi Annie, is the BP in ETEA hard? I mean the theory and practicals compared to other BP schools in Melbourne? Thanks

I am not sure. I think they're all just the same. You won't have a hard time if you were able to work in a hospital setting.
