National Board Conditions: Education Training and Employment Australia (ETEA) is required to provide reports relating to the progress and outcomes for each individual student enrolled in the IRON program for the next 12 months, at the completion of each cohort. The information to be provided in these reports includes:
1. The number of students enrolled into each cohort
2. Date of commencement and completion for all students, including clear information about
:
a. Those students who have demonstrated competence and are deemed suitable for early
exit from the program with details of length of clinical placement undertaken; location and
setting of placement; name of clinical educator who signs off on competence and any
issues identified during the clinical placement period
b. Those students who require the full programmed placement to demonstrate competence
c. Those students who are at risk and may require additional clinical placement time to demonstrate competence
d. Those students who are unable to demonstrate competence and are not able to register at the completion of the program
3. Evidence that the RN competency standards have been met (or not, as the case may be) for
each student
4. Destination for each graduate
5. Evidence of those students who have not met the competency standards have been offered further placements or exited from the program with a fail
6. Formal assignment details for each student undertaking the program. This includes assessment type, date, grade and name of assessor
7. Details of additional and/or supplementary assessment
These reporting requirements will commence for students commencing placements on 4 February 2013 and finishing mid-March; and that the first report will be required by 31 March 2013; with subsequent reports to be provided at the completion of each cohort; or at the latest on the last day of each quarter thereafter i.e. 30 June 2013, 30 September 2013; 31 December 2013.
