World Registration

I graduated BSN in the Philippines 2007 After taking the exam 2x they re-evaluate my application and found out that i did not qualify to take the exam. I found out that my cases did not meet there requirements.

1st question: Do you think i can still be eligible to apply to another state like florida?

2nd question: Can i apply for LVN?

Please. Any advice????

Thanks.

Here are the reason why CA BON is very strict now to all Filipino grads.

Hi stacey05 I too graduated in 2007 from the same institution, so I'm betting I'll get rejected too. But What did they instruct you to do to qualify? And about the clinical cases, how were you able to get those? I wrote to the IN a few weeks ago but all I got was this:

"You did not submit the PRC cases in the Institute right? So we could not provide you any copy.

You may ask the PRC if they still have your copy.

Thank you. "

sounds as though it was a ******** child who wrote the reply email, doesn't it?

i also graduated in feu batch2011 ... am i eligible to take the nclex-pn?

You have been answered in another thread.......and only the board can answer that question after they evaluate your schooling
You apply to BVNPT for licensing as an LVN by examination. BVNPT evaluates your application & credentials and if eligible instructs Pearson Vue to issue the ATT. In order to take the NCLEX you must register with Pearson Vue and pay $200 (additional fees if testing outside US) registration fee to take the NCLEX. Once the ATT is issued you can schedule to take the NCLEX.

However the registration is only valid for a finite period of time and if BVNPT does not issue permission to test because still evaluating your application (right now for IENs it's 9-12 month delay from submission of application to approval) you will lose the $200 registration fee.

Once pay application fee to BVNPT, pay registration fee & pass NCLEX-PN, you then wait for letter from BVNPT stating you passed and return the form to BVNPT with the licensing fee and your LVN license will be issued.

If you never register & pay Pearson Vue you cannot schedule and take the NCLEX. You can likely wait 3-6 months before registering with Pearson Vue as there is a backlog in assessing IENs applying for VN licensing by examination via the alternate method of equivalent education and/or experience. (As opposed to graduating from a school of practical/vocational nursing. )

It so sad to hear that applying for LVN exam is hard right now. when i apply the CA LVN exam it was fast and easy but i have some bumps while waiting for my exam result they required me to pass some papers like philippine license but i forget the other papers any way then after a week i received the result that i passed the exam. that was may 2011. but sad to say I'm also one of the denied applicant because of concurrency issues..but thanks god i have a full time job right now..
