May 27, '12 by ianrefugioHi everyone. I too graduated from the philippines on april 2011. Started my nclex-rn application for CA in may. After months and months of answering their call for more requirements, i finally got the letter informing me that my application was denied. Same reason as everyone else.. MS & OB. I pretty much abandoned my quest to be a nurse in CA. I just dont see myself going back to school just to satisfy their new rules. So on march of this year, i started processing my cgfns CES application for hawaii.. Sent in my nclex-rn application to hawaii around that same time too.. Cgfns got done processing my papers earlier this month. And hawaii deemed my application to take the nclex APPROVED. I just registered with pearson vue last week and should be getting my ATT in a week or two.. I didnt have a problem applying to another state since i have lived in the US almost all my life and am already so used to moving around.. Unless theres something tying you down. I CA, i would definitely urge everyone to stop wasting your time with the CA BRN and apply to another state... May i ask if you have to take the test in hawaii as well? Or you can take it anywhere? - Admin
