I graduated BSN in the Philippines 2007 After taking the exam 2x they re-evaluate my application and found out that i did not qualify to take the exam. I found out that my cases did not meet there requirements.

1st question: Do you think i can still be eligible to apply to another state like florida?

2nd question: Can i apply for LVN?

Please. Any advice????

Thanks.

I was denied by CABON due to OB not being concurrent.

has anyone of remember this question in applying for licensure in another state:

Has any licensing authority refused to issue you a license or ever revoked, annulled, cancelled, accepted surrender of, suspended, placed on probation, refused to renew a nursing license, certificate or multi-state privilege held by you now or previously, or ever fined, censured, reprimanded or otherwise disciplined you?

Yes

No

If you click yes, automatically you will not be allowed to have your endorsement. but if you say no. its lying. pls help!

sorry i think i post this question twice on the other forum. my mistake. I dont know how to delete this one.

HI! I just would like to ask if from where in Cali do u live? cause I'm planning to so do the same. Going back to school. So Im hoping someone has eventually found a school accepting us with deficiencies. thanks!

My friend's classmates in a review center told her that she has the same problems with the concurrency thing but the analyst told them to get an explanation from the dean why the cases were taken in NCM 104 and 105.After they provided the letter of explanation, they got their eligibility letters after 2-3 weeks! There's still a HOPE.Have faith in HIM!God bless us!=)

Hi! i just would like to kindly ask the favor of you updating me on this.. please! i would very much appreciate it! hope our dean could do something about it.. thanks!

Here's your answer, page #3.

Just get the pre-testings, pre-paperwork, pre-licenses or certificates done as soon as possible AND don't wait too long to apply as I'm sure they will either fill up very quickly or deadlines may have passed.

There was a SF college that had hundreds of not closer to 1,000 plus international students going for these limited spots. I know in the Bay Area, more than 900 were looking at one point. Grads from all over the globe are actively looking to get into CA for the locations offering the deficient courses.

thanks alot! :)

Hey guys! Phils graduate here.. which method for the LVN application should I start on? :) got the same nclex rn denied--for now. Still keeping my hopes up in becoming a usrn. Maybe not now but soon, yeah. Wish the same to all!

hello, Does anyone here tried to enroll in a nursing school here in southern california in part of fulfilling the requirements of CA BON to Filipino nursing graduates. The reason I am asking this is because I have difficulty finding schools that accepts part time students since i only need to take some courses of the nursing programs being offered by southern california schools. thank you and godbless.

Hi, have the same problem as yours. What did you put? Is it a yes or a no? Please help... Thank you.

I believe you are applying for the NCLEX-RN in Vermont. You should answer NO. Plain as that.

When CABoN sent you the letter, they were just saying that you did not meet "California" educational requirements. You can apply again if you already completed the said requirements. Remember, each state has their own set of requirements to qualify an applicant to sit for the NCLEX-RN so if you did not qualify in California, it doesn't mean that you will not qualify in other states.

I graduated with my classmates from the Philippines in 2011. My classmates and I (3 of us) all applied at California and were all denied due to concurrency. 2 of us applied with other states, one in Texas the other in Illinois. We both just passed the NCLEX-RN and are licensed. My other classmate is currently applying for the LVN but has been waiting about almost a year for the answer from California. But why go back for an LVN and study again when you finished your time in the Philippines? Apply at another state for an RN and endorse!

hi I think even if your licensed in other state once you endorse it in California we will still face the same issue because they will still ask for the same requirements like the copy of clinical cases, etc.so for some who really wants to stay in California they take the LVN exam, and once they pass they can now work and save money while waiting for schools that will accept the deficiencies.

I have a friend who took the NCLEX-RN in Illinois and working as a nurse there for almost 2 yrs.now, she tried to endorse her license and got denied.Good thing is that she also have relatives in Illinois, but still wanting to work here in Cali because she said she liked the weather here.:)
