Denied by CABON now to take LVN..

World Registration

Can anyone help me here, I'm planning to take the LVN exam because I just got denied by CABON because of the concurrency issue..I just want to know:

Method #3 - Equivalent Education and/or Experience(the PHARMACOLOGY course)Do I need to submit it also? and how? or I just need to submit only the

Method #2 - Graduates of an Out-of-State School of Practical/Vocational Nursing.

BTW, I'm an international graduate, Registered Nurse from the Philippines but I can't sit for the NCLEX-RN exam that is why I decided to take this one. Hope someone can answer my question thank you.

If you can't sit for the NCLEX RN how are you going to be qualified to sit for the NCLEX PN?

He can be qualified. He's a registered nurse in the Philippines. The problem with the BRN why he wasn't qualified to sit for the NCLEX-RN is about the concurrency of the clinical cases.

Well CABON suggested me to either make up for my deficiency by enrolling here in California or take the LVN exam(I decided to take the exam because enrolling for my deficiency will cost a lot of money which I dont have as of now)..I also asked them if I will not encounter the same problem that I have with them and they said no because BVN is not after with the concurrency thing.

I also wonder why will I not be qualified since I am a Registered Nurse in our country.Do you happen to know why if ever?

Can anyone help me here,im planning to take the LVN exam because I just got denied by CABON because of the concurrency issue..I just want to know:

I read a lot of posts that many of us from the PHL are having problems with CABON.Thats why I decided to take the LVN but the forms its very confusing for I dont know what to submitt..:(

I heard that you can ask the BRN to submit your records to the BVNPT and pay $30.I'm not sure but you can call the board and ask them.

my analyst told me that he can send it to the BVNPT for free of charge, dont know about the other analyst. he suggests that ill retake the classes that were not concurrently taken and work as an LVN after passing the NCLEX PN. it was nice of him on giving an advice because to be honest i am clueless and depressed with wat has had happened.

so im guessing that just give a call to BVNPT and ask them the process for taking the NCLEX PN. but before you do anything ask ur analyst first about ur nclex rn application before proceeding to apply for NCLEX PN.
