Denied by CABON now to take LVN..

World Registration

Can anyone help me here, I'm planning to take the LVN exam because I just got denied by CABON because of the concurrency issue..I just want to know:

Method #3 - Equivalent Education and/or Experience(the PHARMACOLOGY course)Do I need to submit it also? and how? or I just need to submit only the

Method #2 - Graduates of an Out-of-State School of Practical/Vocational Nursing.

BTW, I'm an international graduate, Registered Nurse from the Philippines but I can't sit for the NCLEX-RN exam that is why I decided to take this one. Hope someone can answer my question thank you.

Thanks you brought that up!!, kinda lost.. depressed with what has had happened to us.

have you gotten your eligibility yet?

that reply is for kishmwah! lol next time i better just qoute people cause it doesnt show to whom replies are for..

so it means that we not also eligible for lvn?? Do you know if this came up just now?

What's the plan guys?

If that is true how come CABON was the one who suggested us to either take the LVN exam or study again?meaning we just wasted another $ just for nothing?

does anyone here try to contact BVNPT and ask if they are with the concurrency issue as well?so why CABON suggested us to challenge the LVN exam!!!Hope its not true..:(

no i just got a letter from ca bon yesterday and got denied too. so im still trying to figure things out if i should take the nclex pn instead. Or take nclex in other state.

i dont know... that article was recently posted.. in response to the large number of applicants for nclex pn.. lol i dont know if it includes nurses from other countries or just the fake lvn programs here.. hopefully someone can shed light on this.

haha welcome to the club! ;)

As long as you have BSN degree, you can always apply for the LVN exam. Use method 3. Your bedside experience during student duty/OJT will be credited for the nursing experience required. If you're planning to apply, Do it now! It will take some time (3-4months) before the boards get into your application.

eyyy great news guys! someone just got approved!
