Denied by CABON now to take LVN..

Can anyone help me here, I'm planning to take the LVN exam because I just got denied by CABON because of the concurrency issue..I just want to know:

Method #3 - Equivalent Education and/or Experience(the PHARMACOLOGY course)Do I need to submit it also? and how? or I just need to submit only the

Method #2 - Graduates of an Out-of-State School of Practical/Vocational Nursing.

BTW, I'm an international graduate, Registered Nurse from the Philippines but I can't sit for the NCLEX-RN exam that is why I decided to take this one. Hope someone can answer my question thank you.

I tried to go to Sacramento but my wife and my friends encourage me not to. It might affect my schoolmates eligibility if I try to tell them why they got theirs and not mine. One of those schoolmates of mine has problems with her TOR. They might take a look at it again and see it. She got a very nice evaluator and (****identifying information redacted per site ToS*****)

I disagree. If all your friends got their eligibility (and that means you ALL graduated at the same time, same classes, same year, same everything) and you didn't, the CA BON could not change their approval letter of your friends, as it would be cause for possible legal action against the CA BON to go back against their own letter.

Even your friend with the TOR issue got her eligibility now, she's good to go and take the exam after paying the other fees. She's passed the CA BON requirements at this point, no need to look back.

If you're giving up your chance for the privilege to become a CA nurse and willing to waste more money and extra years to find a CA school, try to get enrolled, try to pay the tuition, etc, then that's your choice. It is not going to change your friend's eligibility, other than if they don't pass the NCLEX-RN the first time and re-apply then, maybe it might be an issue.

BUT we've seen several others who were given the chance to take the exam, then fail, then upon re-application, they were denied, BUT that wasn't due to others notifying the CA BON prior notice of their application or paperwork, rather upon the re-examination of their transcripts was the reason for the rejection.

You have a really good point. I just found out that I am not the only one she accused of faking documents. There are some applicants that she asked to complete the her requirements then all of sudden denying them and accusing them of faking their documents.

any advice for NCLEX-PN review materials?? any suggestion will help me,please hit me back i need some list for drug handbooks and any test taking strategies manual. BTW, i am submitting my lvn application today here in westminster, ca, does anybody knows what the processing time?? thanks kabayan
