Denied by CABON now to take LVN..

Can anyone help me here, I'm planning to take the LVN exam because I just got denied by CABON because of the concurrency issue..I just want to know:

Method #3 - Equivalent Education and/or Experience(the PHARMACOLOGY course)Do I need to submit it also? and how? or I just need to submit only the

Method #2 - Graduates of an Out-of-State School of Practical/Vocational Nursing.

BTW, I'm an international graduate, Registered Nurse from the Philippines but I can't sit for the NCLEX-RN exam that is why I decided to take this one. Hope someone can answer my question thank you.

You have to wait for your result in 2-3 week.If you receive your result,sign and send it back together with your $150 license fee.Then wait for another 2 or maybe 3 weeks to see your name online and receive your license card.

waaah where did you get this info?

Please re-read the first section of my comments (go back to my March 9th comment).....it's STRAIGHT from the BVNPT own website....the BVNPT does HAVE a CONCURRENCY RULE!! So that means at any time and day or month or year, the LVN requirement can be ENFORCED and without any prior notice as it's CLEARLY stated in their website and somewhere in their policy.

In fact, it's the very LAST section of the possible unapproved nursing program of the BVNPT website.

I was asking the other poster with a friend inside the BVNPT if she knows if there are any plans to one day do what the CA BON has been enforcing.

Get in your applications quickly and pray they don't start closing off this door also into CA.

hello dragon lady, btw im ron, nurse from the phi too. just got a letter being denied by BRN. so i decided to take the lvn route, if you don't mind can i ask u a question?? since i dont have a employment history/ verification, do i have to pass the form or just leave it blank. and what is nursing experience form? thank u kabayan hope u see this msg. god bless

Batch 2012, still no update with the NCLEX RN application?

My classmate just got her nclex-rn in florida, waited for 4 months and passed this february. Now, she's working as RN in florida. Also, my other classmate applied for NCLEX-RN in New Jersey, just don't know if she already got it.

That's neat and quick that your classmate is working as hospital RN! It can happen and good news with the gloomy job market.

Yes, it is indeed a good news. It gave me hope and I hope that others will not give up on taking the nclex-rn to other states. :)

I am taking this route as well after failing the NCLEX-RN the first time. I am currently studying for the NCLEX-PN as I got denied by the BON last month for a repeat/reapply examination. Already have my ATT for the NCLEX-PN so just need to schedule and pass this test. I was unaware of the concurrency issue with the BVNPT and I am thankful I did not get denied by them. I wish everyone the best of luck with their application or exam. Scary times for all of us IEN.

Forgot to mention my deficiencies are in Med-Surg, Psych and OB. So I guess that's all of them. Should've passed the NCLEX-RN the first time. Now I'll probably be stuck as an LVN forever. Too bad with this BSN we don't have too many options in terms of profession. All the jobs I've wanted to apply for require current RN license.

did you put the date of rle rotation with ci names? Did you go to your school and ask them to fill it up?

Hello fellow kababayans!! can u guys pls help me on my LVN application?? i don't know which forms that i need to fill up and send to my school in PINAS. do i have to fill up record of nsg experience?? i was denied on my NCLEX RN APPLICATION.. hope u guys give me a lil bit of advice thanks #salamat
