CNO to stop accepting IEN applications in Aug 2014

  1. Starting August 12, 2014, the College of Nurses of Ontario will no longer accept new applications from internationally educated nurses (IENs).
After that date, all IENs who want to register with the College will apply directly through the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS), a national online application service developed by RN, RPN and LPN regulatory bodies across Canada.

They have also make lots of changes in the Language proficiency requirement. I hope these changes will fasten the process for IENs.
