CGFNS- beating a dead horse

Hey everyone I tried to search AN but its hard to filter through a lot of the questions that dont apply to me. I will call CGFNS this week but was hoping for a reply from someone whos been through this.

So I am an RN, educated in Canada, on TN visa in US for the last 3 years. MY Visa screen is going to expire in october so im trying to get it renewed.

A few questions

So I need to get hold of EVERY nursing board in the US and Canada that im licensed in and have them send a verification to CGFNS? From what I understand, I think that I have to do this. What I dont understand is I am licensed in AK, MN, and CA... MN and CA dont have an option to verify with a form to send to CGFNS as far as I can tell its online only. AK and Alberta have forms which I can send off, so how does CGFNS verify the MN and CA licenses?

Do they also need a verification of my Diploma/Degree again from my school?? And do they need my transcripts again? Because this was a big ordeal they kept losing my stuff the first time and it took forever. I would think that they have all that stuff so for the renewal is it only my licenses they need?

And I what happens if the whole renewal is not completed in time by the end of October? Im going to send off the form this week, so it will be sent soon but will it jepordize my ability to work untill its issued?

As long as your TN is up to date you should be OK. you shouldn't need VSC until next go for TN
