CES reevaluation

Good Day!

I would like to ask how long does it take for me to get the CES re-evaluation report?

I called one of your rep and she said that it would take 8-10 weeks. and I just can't believe it because I just thought that since you already had my documents and all of it meet the US requirements, it would be faster than 2 weeks. my CES report just issued march 28 and I just really thought that I can have my CES re-evaluation ASAP since my initial expedited CES report is just issued 2 weeks ago (IT IS NOT AN OLD REPORT). I know that it is only been 3 days since I purchased the CES re-evaluation but it is just frustrating for me to wait another 8-10 weeks since I paid a lot of money ($500 + $210) and yet I have to wait that long. Hoping that you will answer my concern. Thank you and more power.

wait.....why did you have to pay for a re-evaluation. no one has to repay for that.

I was denied in the state that is supposed to be my target state because they want an applicant with experience. now i'm planning to apply in another state and they wanted my CES re-evaluated. it is a fresh report then but the state still wants me to have it reevaluated. now the cgfns said that I need to wait for 8-10 weeks! is just so frustrating!!! I just thought that they could send the report since the already had my documents and it met all the US requirement

here is my application status

they already have everything and yet they still want me to wait for 8-10 weeks?

anyone here who got their CES reevaluation in a month or less?

Hi lemuel,

may i know what state are you re applying for ?

Sometimes, customer service feedback is base on ideal answer but the actual one could be different.

Since the CGNS has your previous data stored in their company data base, in actual transactions, I would assume you will just have to wait for less than a Month for the credential re evaluation to process.

check you CGNS account every now and then to manually monitor the status of your CES report.

Also, CGFNS offer a fast service fee of 250 dollars as an option

I'm planning to apply in Iowa since they are open to new applicant with no experience and I already told them about my CES report in my initial state and they assured me that I will be eligible since my documents met the US requirements. so that means to say that I can have it in less than a month? I sure hope that would be true. I'm just frustrated paying a lot of money. I don't want to pay anymore since the only money I have is for my nclex and application fee. my two part time jobs are not enough for my bills and everything :(

Did you ask the state BON which part of the CES they need re evaluated? because when mine past one year they told me i had to get mine re-evaluated too. I asked them again because I did not want to repay for another CES and wait. It turned out they only needed to re evaluate my License in the Philippines, which i didn't have one because I'm a US citizen and cant take the board exam there. So, I saved my self some time and money. sooo try asking your BON first.

Are you aware that the Iowa state board of nursing require an English test ?

I already asked the BON they said they still want to have it reevaluated even if it is still new. they just want it to be reevaluated and then they said that the result will be the same- documents can still meet the US requirements. my classmate who is applying on the same state just got hers in just 3 days and now she is about to pay for the nclex and application fee.

yes I already told them that in my CES report, the language of instruction is English and they exempt me for taking the English test. Do you have any experience about this? did you had it for less than a month?
