im just new here, it's nice there is such informative and useful site like this.
I have question regarding CES in applying nclex for Illinois. I've that the requirments are CES and TOEFL. I have my CES but i'm a little bit confuse because my CES was Healthcare Profession & Science Report but in the requirements i've read the needed CES is Healthcare Profession & Science Course-By-Course Report. i just want to know if my CES will be accepted? i hope you could give me an idea on this.
thanks

- Mar 22, '10 by Silverdragon102I would suggest you check with the BON because they are the ones that make the final decision. I do know that the course by course is a bit more in-depth and that is what the BON may be looking for

For I know, your report will be accepted by IDFPR. That's the one they actually require. It's a little bit confusing because of the "course-by-course" used by IDFPR and CGFNS. If you haven't notice, there is an instruction in http://www.idfpr.com/DPR/APPLY/FORMS/CGFNS_02.pdf and it say there that "Request the “Full Education” report only if you think you will be attending graduate school in the United States some time in the future".
To have a sure answer, contact Continental Testing Services (CTS) :c/o Susan Zajda

Thanks for the advise Daigorot and Silverdragon102 for replying to my inquiry. I just thought of that too but i'm not that sure because it's my first time. So my CES will be accepted because i dont have plans yet attending a graduate school in the US. but anyway thanks a lot.
i have one question again, after my toefl i can apply nclex right after i passed my toefl?...
Thank you ver much - Mar 22, '10 by DaigorotQuote from charman2420Have you submitted your application and fee at CTS? For I know, you have to wait for their approval before you can register for the NCLEX-RN exam at Pearson-Vue. If your CES report indicates that your education was conducted in english with english textbook then, probably your TOEFL will be waived. Inquire at CTS for sure answer. I already posted the contact number. Where are you from, by the way?Hi All,

Thank you ver much - Mar 22, '10 by charman2420Not yet. I only submitted the CT-NUR form at CTS. The rest of the form were deferred because of the TOEFL. On my CES, it was stated that my education was conducted in English with English textbook.

- Mar 23, '10 by DaigorotQuote from charman2420Did you apply and pay online (CTS website)? If not, you should because they will not process your application until you pay the corresponding fee of 88USD. Are you educated outside US? For I know, the licensing body of your current license will be the one that will submit the CT-NUR to CTS.Not yet. I only submitted the CT-NUR form at CTS.
