- Aug 6, '12 by steppybayTO Kuyafern: are you referring to those certain classes that are needed prior to taking the exam as the two courses or classes as the child abuse AND infection control ones? If so, I think that's a requirement of any applicants, be them, domestic or international ones, and have to be taken and then if you pass, you get a certificate of completion that has to be submitted to the NY board for approval. If so, the courses are listed for the various providers on the NY website for locations.

i want to take my chance to other states and i'm eyeing chicago or
whatever state that i may meet the requirements
i'm foreign graduate and have no local license from the country i was educated,
is there any chance for me to meet the requirements of the other states?
if i'll take the test to other states, what are the procedures?
do i have to take the cgfns exam? can i take the cgfns prior to passing the english exam.
