hi there . im just wandering how many clinical cases on actual del, cord care, major and minor cases do the CABRN required.. i recently graduated last April and planning to apply in CA
Best to ask your school on their success stories of others in getting thru the CA BRN tough requirements, short of that being you just graduated, simply apply into the CA system, just know unless you're more than 100% certain that ALL your curriculums was conducted with both the clinical and theory sections in the exact same semester, not months or years apart, you're part ways there.

Just know whether you are approved or denied by the CA BON, any and all fees sent are not going to be returned.

sorry, i saw this old post.
i would just like to ask the following requirements for the NCLEX CA.
i just graduated this 2013 from the phil, and passed the boards. now i'm here at cali and i want to apply.
i would much appreciate if you could help me out by sending the requirements thanks
Make sure that you already have a valid S/S number, a MUST requirement or the application will be rejected, not sure if it's rejected due to not having a S/S number, if they will return your monies back.

Make sure that all your curriculums with the clinicals and theory sections were done in the same exact semester, not months or year or two later, if not, it will be an instant rejection. But seeing you're a 2013 grad, maybe your school was in full compliance with the CA BON minimum requirements.

Suggest you take the time to read thru all the threads pertaining to PH grads and nurses, only a handful have been approved since Nov. 2011.

tor, rle, educational breakdown, clnical rotation sched, reg forms, class sched, rle logbook, academic calendar, clinical cases and my passport. thats why im expecting for the worst! ahahaha im waiting for my lvn eligibility and also i decided to apply nclex in HI.
I haven't sent my CA application in yet but are these things something I can send now ahead of time myself? or do they need to be sent from the school?

Also, what exactly is in the clinical rotation schedule, registration form, class chedule, and rle logbook? Would not a summary of RLE, a copy of my cases, the syllabi, and school BSN curriculum suffice? Thank you!

If the dates of your clinical cases aren't concurrent to your theoretical class dates. I suggest you pull out your application from cali.
This is from me and my other friends experience. It's a total waste of time to force yourself in cali unless you're willing to some classes.

Sigh, I'm still thinking about it. I have another question, if you don't mind. How can I process my fingerprint card if I am still in the Philippines? Is it possible to do that here? Thank you.

Nevermind, I just found my answer on the BRN website. Did anyone of you have your fingerprint form sent to you from BRN?

Do you know any school in Texas where you can take the deficiencies? And is it right if you endorse your license to any state that has concurrency issue you still need to meet the requirement? Like classes?
