Bridging Program in Australia

World Registration

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

Did You take the offer for April?

I am for IHNA Perth April intake

I didn't because my ahpra will already expire in june.. :( I accepted acn's april intake, unfortunately, the embassy wouldn't acknowledge their accreditation since the school's name is not yet on the ahpra site..

Hi everyone! Im having a problem with my visa application. It has been 10 days since my medical exam but I havent received a notification from the embassy that they have received my medical clearance. My concern is that my orientation will be on April 3. Im afraid my visa wont be released yet by then. Anybody who has/had the same situation? Do you havr any suggestions?

Hello annie_v2g

I already did. She replied saying my medical clearance has been received just recently. Do you have any idea how long til I get my visa? More or less? Thankd

I think my application was sent through email by my agent (I am with Philman)...ACN emailed me (few days after) for the supporting docs of my vaccination, and I just emailed them the documents.

hi jb_101,

sorry i couldn't send you a private message. i already withdrew my visa docs since the acn's name is still not on the list of ahpra's approved providers..i wish i could be in the may intake but my ahpra's going to expire in june and ahpra vic doesn't want to give me an extension so i need to reapply again.. :(

Hi Julairose,

Why don't you email your case officer again and explain to her that your class starts on April 3 and you need to have a decision regarding your visa application. Maybe they can expedite your application. It's better to try. You'll never know, she might consider your plea. Be optimistic!
