Bridging Program in Australia

World Registration

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

tnx. is it ok to submit application forms in different schools? I'm worried since the forms must include the credit card number..

another thing, is it ok to apply to the approved schools provided by the letter from AHPRA even if my ielts has expired? thank you..

IELTS is very important so you have to re-take. Yes you can apply to all

ohh..I thought it would be ok even if your IELTS had expired for as long as you lave the letter of approval from AHPRA..thank you. :)

Hi, I just wanted to share this info with you. Every schools will require the valid english result to the end of the course. If your IELTS will be expiring or already expired, you'd better do it quickly.

Hi BigBrownEyes and Thai-Midwife in Aus,

I am also rooting for AAON. I got an email that interview will start this coming October and November.

Can you give me a heads up on the possible questions they might ask? :)

Thanks! I do hope you will have a good time in AAON :)

Ayanami, I had the same situation as you. What school are you applying to? I just finished my bridging program with IHNA, June 2012 batch. My IELTS was expired november 2010. They said they're cool with it, as long as you have the approval from AHPRA. Good luck! :)

Now that's a good sign. I am more motivated to be accepted. May the odds be in favor of me because I've been reading that aaon is very strict and has very few slots. I hope I ca be lucky enough to be shortlisted.

oh there's an intake for January? The earlier the better. I'm just thinking that I might not be able to finish the visa processing in due time that's why I'm aiming for Feb. But I'd like to join the Jan intake if possible. How long was the interview?

Anyone for IHNA Perth Campus January 28, 2013 intake? PLS PM ME... future friends... :)
