Hi guys. I recently got my LOE. I'm eyeing for La Trobe's January 2014 intake. Does anyone know how to apply? I already emailed them and also tried the online application thru their student portal but to no avail.

Hi milakunis. Try to apply as to many schools as you can because school placement nowadays is really hard due to the volume of people taking up bridging program. The more options you have the better because you will have to consider a lot of deadlines such as your IELTS, the length of the bridging course, your visa and more importantly your LOE which I think is a 1 year validity for everyone as of today. I got my LOE December 2012 but was only able to have a letter from a school come May 2013. I am supposed to be for their September intake but I requested for an earlier intake which is August. If you can see the time frame from my situation, it's very risky especially since my LOE expires December this year. You wouldn't want to take chances of an extension because no one is guaranteed for an extension of LOE. Hope that helps.

hi! how is the e-learning going on so far? I have not accessed mine yet since I don't have time. Can you tell me what to expect? Also, are you done with the immunization history? I'm for IHNA October intake by the way. Thanx!

hello Dina! I'm for IHNA October intake, can you give me an overview regarding the accommodation options? Should I just take their offered accommodation even if it's too pricey? thanx!

Done with e-learning...it's okay just have to find time to finish it within the timeframe of two months ..it's more of basic concepts and nursing in Australia..so you get a good grasp on how it is for them there...and there's also computation and english learning...the mRSA is only what's lacking for now so I am rushing to accomplish it I am for august intake
