@giftdonna, i don't think there's specific format of study plan as i inquired from a friend who has visa approval already. Just write a brief description of what you are going to study, where to study (specify school if any), level of norwegian language course you are to take, duration of your study and tuition fees. If ever you have already enrolled or paid downpayment for your fees, you may include this as well.

Thanks for the reply gemsky, this is really a great help since I am very confuse. I am now in the process of getting my documents for the show money. I think I have that one you are referring. It states the school, the course, date and time and even the fee. it was very brief but it says it all. I was just confuse between " document a norwegian course you are going to attend" and " a plan for norwegian course". I think its the same (correct me if I am wrong) but I am trying to make sure of everything before I jump . I believe the first is the one that I have and the latter is the study plan. really have no idea. lol Thanks anyways for replying. God Bless. More power.

they answered it already. the document for norwegian course should be listed in your study plan. i think its more on your "OWN" description about the location of your school, the language course and the length.. etc. it's specifically about your plans when you land to Norway

Hi! I heard from my friend that is in Norway that jobseeker visa was repealed. If this was true, anyone here who got their autorisasjon approved have a problem processing the jobseeker visa? I really would like to know for I am planning to send my documents to SAFH for auxilliary nurse authorisation. Can someone please enlighten me up with this? Thank you very much!

@ giftdonna, when I lodged/filed my application 2 months ago, I noticed that the checklist for documents to be submitted has some addendum (additions) now compared before. I was a little bit confused with your comment so I go about to see the new checklist and Item number 6 asks for "documentation of admission to a Norwegian course... " while Item number 9 is "plan for the Norwegian course you will be attending during your stay in Norway." From my understanding, I think its a different thing. When I filed my application, they only asked for 'study plan' but to be safe and not feel sorry later, I strongly suggest that you inquire first from the embassy if item 6 and 9 on the new checklist mean the same thing.

@michayganda, my friend filed her application sometimes in February 2013 and barely less than a month, she got her visa approval. Seems that processing time now is entirely different...just recently checked the processing time for residence permit to learn the Norwegian language, few weeks ago it was 5 months the most, now they changed it to 6 months.

@kree, I got my authorization already from SAFH only last month (June). Effective June 1, I think there is a new policy that you have to pay first the fee, then send the bank receipt along with your documents. Procedures, documents needed, fees and where to send them are all in their website.

@gemsky: thanks for the reply, and congrats to the approval of your authorization. So, what's your next step after that? Going to apply for a jobseeker visa? But my friend who is in Norway told me that jobseeker visa was repealed Oh, no! That can't be!

Thnx Gemsky, il take note on that.

@Kree, you can go through with your application for authorization since you will need it when you apply for a health care job in Norway. Anyways the expiration of the authorization is long enough till you retire Also, maybe you can consider other visa if you really want to go. I have been authorize last feb but my documents were lost, but they gave me my id number and they assure to find ways to re-send my documents.
