I emailed SAFH to inquire about the current status of my application after i sent all the documents... they replied to me that i have to state my birthdate in the email inorder for them to check the status of my application after that they emailed me back with the attached faktu/invoice stating that i have to pay for it before they can start processing my application. Its much better if we email them rather than waiting for the faktu/invoice to arrive via snail mail.

I did that too.. I just found out about it the other day..:nurse:

It seems that 3 days after they got my docs, they already sent the invoice..

I'm just downhearted coz I applied for a general nurse category..:down:

My aunt in Norway already paid the giro this morning.. She got it thru email from SAFH..

I applied as gen nurse.. i have read that most of the applicants under this category were denied..

I wish I had applied as aux nurse.. :(

I am currently studying norwegian language in taguig, i just mail my safh applucation thru the help of mrs. ******. She teaches norsk and her husband is currently in norway and he will be the one to look fir available job..

what are the requirements for safh application? Does the person who helped you belongs to a consultancy agency or a relative of yours? I'm planning to go to Norway too but I don't have any relatives there. Thanks.

Hello. I am very much interested in applying for Norway but I'm afraid I didn't have enough clinical experience. Financially wise, my relative in Oslo expressed her willingness to assist me in any way she could, so finances might not be an issue at this moment. What bothers me is the language barrier, though I am more than eager to practice it and eventually be a fluent speaker of it. Another thing is my lack of clinical experience here. Is it okay to apply even with only a volunteer service experience of 6 months?

Are agencies/ consultancy firms reliable for Norway applications? I just want to ask since these firms require you expensive rates if you wish to be assessed for your application.

Hi everyone,

I was browsing searching for the requirements to be a licensed nurse in norway and i found this site which gave me an idea of registering. I am a filipina nurse with more than 18 years in clinical practice. I am working presently in qatar on a supervisory level. My husband is Danish and he is relocating to norway hence I am trying to be licensed in norway so when I join him there I can get employment as a General nurse practitioner. I know few words in danish but i have to learn norwegian.

Can anyone give me any ideas on how to go about getting authorization to work as a GN in Norway.

Thanks

Hi! you can study the language.. apply for aux nurse.. and experience is not an issue as long as you submit all the necessary docs and of course it should be authentic..
