Hi! I just like to ask

is it necessary to pass the norwegian language proficiency test this october before I could apply as an auxiliary nurse?

Can I get part time jobs easily in norway when I get there?

thank you in advance..

hi everyone :)

I just want to ask those who are already there in Norway working as a General Nurse/Auxilary Nurse already, did you have an agency to help you or did you just processed your papers on your own? Does anyone can tell me how much did they spend processing their papers including the visa fee, safh registration and stuff? Thank you so much, hope you can answer my questions. God bless

That's just it. Nobody ever seems to post about getting there. Just there plans. Maybe that is a hint.

I also attended a consultancy firm regarding residence permit visa to learn the language.

And I must say the amount they were asking for their "consultancy" was too much.

I was planning to go the same path, but I had no relatives in Norway.

When I consulted my relatives in other EU nations, they said agencies and consultancy should not be trusted, and encouraged me to make an online application instead.

My only problem was the accommodation since i was applying on my own and not in a group. If someone here is going to push through with online application, message me, maybe we can share accommodation. i'm definitely pushing through with my application online.:nurse:

I have to ask. How would you feel having yourself or a loved family member cared for by a healthcare worker who couldn't communicate fully in your own language? Would you feel safe and secure?

Hi nes09! We're on the same boat. I'm currently learning their language and my target date for SAFH application is on September. How can I reach you? Can't send PMs yet :(

Hi!

Is there anybody here from middle east who want to learn Norsk language? Can I join you in learning Norsk? I am planning to register with SAFH but I need to learn the language first.

A written plan for the Norwegian courses you intend to attend during your stay in Norway

Please note that the Adult Learning Centres ('Voksenopplæring') in each local Council ('Kommune') in Norway offer Norwegian Courses to beginners. For example: Voksenopplæring - Oslo Kommune

In many cases, the price is half of what is offered by various institutions in the Private Sector.

--------------------regarding this one for applying.. have you tried and successfully passed one? is there a form or guidelines that I should when writing this one?

hi! i'm newbie here! still researching about Norway...I've read some information. they're so helpful... I'm planning to do it on my own if i'm going to pursue it..

Hello nurses! I'm planning to apply for a residence permit to look for a job (jobseeker) in Norway that is only valid for 6 months. Would it be possible to find a job there even if I only know up to level 3 of Norwegian language? Is it true that there's a lot of vacancies for nursing assistants there?thnx..
