working contingent as an RN during time off as APN
- 0Jan 8, '13 by galenightI'm likely to be offered my first NP position this week after 2 interviews. The schedule is a brutal: 7 days on, 7 days off 12 hour shifts with a hospitalist group. My question is does anyone pick up RN time? I could use the extra money for loan repayment. As a new grad, I don't want to take on a new NP role in addition to my new job...that would just be information overload. But with that 7 on/7 off schedule it would allow me to pick up 2-3 days a month for extra cash. Any thoughts?
