When should I start applying???

  1. 0 Topic of the week among many co-students and co-workers. When should an NP student start applying for jobs? Especially those whom are planning to relocate. The consensus is up to 6 months prior to graduation. Any thoughts/experiences????

I started applying in February (graduated in May). I actually accepted the first position I interviewed for in March & started in April with orientation/computer training. Obviously I couldn't see patients independently until I passed my boards in July & my credential/privileges process wasn't complete until August

I graduated this past Dec and started applying to places in October. I accepted a position right after New Years.
