    Hi all,
    Anyone here been accepted into the UTEP FNP program? I've applied for Spring 2013, and was just curious if they had an interview, and how soon after applying were you notified of acceptance?

    Their website says review/interviews in Sept/Oct for Spring and Feb/March for Fall, with acceptance notifications in November/April respectively. However, a friend doing the Pediatric NP told me they don't do interviews for the FNP program. He also had his interview in September and was notified at the end of the interview that he was in, so obviously there's some deviation from what's posted.

    Anyone out there that can enlighten me on their FNP admission experience with UTEP? Thank you.

    Hey there,

    I have applied for the FNP program for Spring 2013 as well and have not heard anything as of yet. Did you have an interview yet? Have you heard anything from them?

    Also waiting for UTEP's response. I wonder if there will be an interview. I applied for their ACNP program.

    After a long wait, I got interviewed by the program director last Nov. 4. I hope they liked my answers. Now the hardest part...waiting for their decision.

    Did you do a face to face or phone interview? When did they say they will let you know by?

    We did a phone interview. They said they will give notice of admission status after November 26. They said the admissions committee were behind with interviews and decisions. Where are you on the process?

    I had a phone interview this week. They said we should be hearing back by mid december.

    Hello, I had my interview this week and was told 2nd week of Dec for notifications. If your friend was told right away he/she was in it's probably because the pool of applicants is short. FNP program had 89 applicants for only 18 slots. ACNP and PCNP is not in high demand thus it is easier to get into those programs.

    Hello, I got an interview on Nov 12, the interview went great,but Im still waiting for the response. Im so anxious,and the wait feels so long that it has me worried. Let me know when do u guys get a response plz
