    I know that most NPs don't work in a hospital, but do ACNPs have a high demand in a hospital?

    I would like to work in the ER, but do ACNPs get hired for this kind of position, or do they just need RNs?

    ACNPs have a HUGE demand (especially in states/hospitals where ANPs and FNPs can't get credentialed to work inpatient), and yes, ACNPs are hired to work in ERs.
