Hi,

Took exam today and passed. Just wanted to share what I think helped me pass. 1. Barkley's review course & CDs. I really enjoyed the CDs, and had them before the review class. I listed to them quite a bit in my car. He made anemias easy to understand. 2. I read the Leik book from cover to cover. I really liked the layout of the book. There are 500 test questions in the back of the book which I did twice! lol. I had read on here that some of the treatments are outdated, so when in doubt, I looked up. Overall though, the S/S, pictures were very helpful in studying.

Test questions. I took the Barkley DRT before the review and received 62%, then after the review 82%. In Leik's book of questions, towards the end I was getting mid 70's to mid 80's. Even though I went through the questions twice, many of them I didn't remember, so I didn't feel like I was "cheating" doing them again. I also took the APEA predictor exam and scored 76 or 78%.

I recommend all of the above. I also had Fitzgerald book, questions and CDs, but I just could not get into it. There is so much information it was overwhelming, so I didn't use her material much at all.

Good luck to everyone who still is waiting to take the exam! I couldn't believe how much my hands were shaking and heart was pounding waiting for the test result! They say it is preliminary - I sure hope they don't change their mind! :)

Congratulations! It sounds like you worked the reviews hard. It's always interesting to read posts like this and I am sure many people will benefit from it.

Thank you!
