Online FNP programs

Are there any great 100% online FNP or womens health NP Programs in MD. Are there any close to MD and good on tuition. What are your thoughts about online NP programs? Anyone attend an online university in which they obtained a MSN degeree?

Stevenson just started an online MSN program but not FNP. I think Coppin State has one that is mostly online and reasonably priced. Unfortunately University of MD has yet to get their act together and offer a decent amount of material online. :(

There are several online FNP programs, some do require trips to campus, but a lot of them are pricey. Keep in mind that you are going to have to find your own preceptor in most cases and there seem to be a lot of threads where people are having difficulty finding one.

Keep in mind I did a lot of research and some of this information is not correct so you will need to search for the school you are interested in and go to the program page and read about requirements.

I am going to Gonzaga University for FNP. It requires 2 campus visits each semester you are taking 600 level courses so I doubt it would work for you unless you want to fly to Spokane, WA several times. It also runs about $700 a credit hour.

Good luck in your search but honestly the only way you're really going to find a program is to do the legwork and google/search/read/call the schools until you find one that will work for you.

There is an FNP program at Millersville University near Lancaster PA. It is close to some areas in MD. I believe, some classes are online, but the program is not completley online.
