Need Advice from Women's Care NP's

by Hozgur

I am considering a career change in Nursing and would greatly appreciate your advice. I am interested in becoming a nurse and I am interested in Pediatric Nursing and Women's care specifically on the maternity floor. I had such an amazing team of Nurses after I had my son and they inspired me to go into this field. I also had an amazing lactation consultant who was also a Nurse and would love to do what she does too. Do NPs take care of these women? And can they get specialized training to become a lactation consultant too?
