Job search at end of year

  1. Hi everyone,
I am a new AGNP aspiring for first NP position. I heard that it is harder to find employment at the end of the year. Has anyone found that statement to be true for Nurse practitioners? Should I wait to start applying in January or should I hit the ground now? Your advice please. I m new to this forum

    Hi and welcome,
I'm all about counting the gross and would start now. I'd guess some places will slow down until after the holidays but what do you have to lose by starting early? Good luck.

Start applying now to 10 places but may get interviews for only 5 to7 but only 1 or 2 may offer you a job that may fit what you are looking for
