Good news for Pennsylvania NPs

by ghillbert Premium Member

Looks like the Board of Nursing in PA has finally been able to adjust the regulation of CRNPs to delete the prescribing restriction that only permitted CRNPs to prescribe certain controller substances for 72hrs, as well as to remove the collaborating physician:NP ratio (and various other smaller amendments).

It's disappointing that significant advertising among NPs and NP students was only able to gather <500 letters from nurses/NPs given that there are ~6100 NPs in PA though.
