ARNP program with low undergrad gpa but high ASN GPA?

I'll try to get straight to the point. I want to be an acute care adult NP in the hospital setting preferably Cardiac or Neuro. My dilemma is that my undergrad GPA is awful (below 2.8) but I'm currently in a ASN program with a 3.5 GPA. I live in S. Florida. I want to get my MSN but I wondering how much my undergrad GPA is going to count against me?

yup every credit ever taken will be counted ...now that being said some schools will only look at you last 60 credit hours, while others look at every single course and grade to come up with the overall gpa. and only use that as an admission requirement. Are you planning on getting your BSN as well first? I do not know many ASN to MSN schools for NP. most all require a BSN to apply.

Was there any reason that your GPA was so low? All NP programs that I know of want applicants to write a letter or essay stating why they believe they can be successful in a graduate program, so can you explain it there. If your poor grades were received when you were young and you did not know what you wanted to do, but then you were able to turn things around and do well in ASN school, then the admissions directors will take that into consideration. However, the highly competitive universities will probably not give your application much review.
