Any acute care NPs here work in oncology?

I'm looking at acute care NP after I graduate (it's either that or the PhD). One of my advisors said I might find oncology interesting, so I was wondering if there were any ACNPs here who did oncology. I had looked at cardio as a specialization, but my internship on a tele floor proved to be boring. Thought about Psych NP too, but I really didn't like inpatient psych and don't want to spend most of my day giving counseling.

And just to be clear (because someone will likely bring this up), no, I'm not going to do an FNP. I don't like kids, I don't like primary care, and I followed an FNP for two days and thought it was boring (and this was an NP who had plenty of time to spend with patients).

Most Oncology NPs are trained under the ANP guise for the states that done recognize the oncology NP certification. There are not very many oncology NPs but ACNP would be just as appropriate depending on your experience and training.

There are a couple of ACNP students in my program who are specializing in oncology.

How can you think cardiology is boring!!!!???????????? Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Heh.
