The degree opens the doors for you.

After that it is what you personally bring to the management position that you want.

Research the position and list the skills/talents YOU rank as

necessary for the job.

In management , the degree opens the door. Only your competency will keep you in.

Priorities on the CEO's list are:

Communication skills- - - - - - sink or swim , it's usually # 1

Leadership skills

Organizational skills

Think on your feet? Stay focused? Handle several projects at once? See the projects through to the end? See the big picture? And how your dept fits? Think "outside the box"?
