The Patient

  1. I think that we as nurses are all missing the point! The reason we are nurses is not the money (It may keep us in nursing) but to take care of people. I think that the degrees increase the care we as nurses provide, we all bring different thought process and levels of thinking to enhance the care we provide, In NE where I am from all nurses can do assessment LPN and RN the RN's take care of the advanced IV's that the LPN-C are not able to do, However if the BSN is such a success to patient care WHY are alot of them no longer working with patients? I work with all levels of nurses and have found in my short time in nursing (2 1/2 years) that every level has there pros and con's, and that there are excellent nurses at every level and poor nurses at every level. We need to take care of each other no one else is going to!
