dear colleagues,
on april 9, 2012, the american nurses association (ana) released a publication entitled bullying in the workplace: reversing a culture.

according to the ana this publication is in response to the needs of nurses based on studies which report that between 18% and 31% of nurses have been the targets of bullying behaviors at all levels of practice. the purpose of the publication is to shed new light on the growing social problem which is affecting nurses, to help nurses understand and deal with bullying and the perpetrators, and to support changes in our work environments which breed a culture of bullying.
