New Grad in Fargo, ND

  1. I applied to Sanford Health in Fargo, ND two weeks ago, got 4 interviews, 2 fulltime job offers, and I don't graduate until May! I really want to jump on this offer, any insight about the area or hospital? They have a lot of openings, any input as to why besides the bitter cold? I think I might accept the offer, but I'm having a hard time deciding where I want to work. But, as a new grad I know that fulltime jobs don't come too easy.
    Thanks!

I applied to Prairie St Johns hospital and will have an interview tomorrow with the Director of Nursing. Did anyone have an interview there. What to expect

Im interested in applying out there but with a husband and three children it looks like it would be pretty much impossible to afford a reasonable 3 bedroom place unless I can dish out 2000+ a month which is really disappointing.

Fargo area apartments are extremely reasonable. My fiance and I are looking at 600-800 for a two bedroom, with three bedroom not too much more. It is when you get out further west that you would run into problems. There are still several FT job opening in Fargo, and the area is so nice!

If you don't mind me asking, are you from ND? I think it's awesome that you got job offers 2 months before graduating.

LPN should be making between $15 to $17 an hour based on RN wages.

Not sure on Sanford. I know Essentia just put out something new for new grads for spring. You could look at them as well. Good luck.
