New Grad in Fargo, ND

U.S.A. North Dakota

Published

I applied to Sanford Health in Fargo, ND two weeks ago, got 4 interviews, 2 fulltime job offers, and I don't graduate until May! I really want to jump on this offer, any insight about the area or hospital? They have a lot of openings, any input as to why besides the bitter cold? I think I might accept the offer, but I'm having a hard time deciding where I want to work. But, as a new grad I know that fulltime jobs don't come too easy.

Thanks!

Specializes in Hematology/Oncology.

Lol. I applied too. I am awaiting any type of response. when did you say your first day was?

I applied to Prairie St Johns hospital and will have an interview tomorrow with the Director of Nursing. Did anyone have an interview there. What to expect

Im interested in applying out there but with a husband and three children it looks like it would be pretty much impossible to afford a reasonable 3 bedroom place unless I can dish out 2000+ a month which is really disappointing.

Fargo area apartments are extremely reasonable. My fiance and I are looking at 600-800 for a two bedroom, with three bedroom not too much more. It is when you get out further west that you would run into problems. There are still several FT job opening in Fargo, and the area is so nice!

Thanks, I will check that area, I was looking is Bismarck and the prices were crazy! I applied to Sanford so we will see how it goes!

Should look at st. alexius as well.

If you don't mind me asking, are you from ND? I think it's awesome that you got job offers 2 months before graduating.

Do you Mind telling me the pay range I'm interested in moving to nd. I'm a LPN?

LPN should be making between $15 to $17 an hour based on RN wages.

No I'm from Iowa! They are still hiring like crazy as we are always short staffed

Is Sanford still hiring new grad nurses?
