How is nursing being affected by the oil boone?

Been reading a lot on this and wondered how its affecting the nursing and hospital community. Is there an increase in need for nurses due to the influx of oil workers? Are wages going up comparably with the rate of inflation (increase of basic costs like housing, etc)? Are RN's flooding the state with spouses and eating up jobs? A lot of news out there about the topic and I see houseing (or trailering in some cases) is a premium. How are the residents getting by with all the changes?
