Returned to ND after living away 5 years

Just a quick question for all you ND nurses. Do you find that the pay is poor here? I recently relocated back to ND after living in MT and WY the last 5 years. I took a 5 dollar pay cut!!! I mean really, it's not like I was working in large metropolitan areas were the cost of living is extremelly high. By the way, I'm working in Bismarck.

Yes, pay in ND is lower than most other states but the cost of living is quite low also so that is part of the reasoning, perhaps nurses need to organize a union

When I considered moving to Wyoming, I found that I would have taken a significant cut by doing so. I work in Fargo and I think we have the highest nursing wages in North Dakota. Benefits pretty good, too.

I worked in Bismarck almost 14 years ago. Started at $13/hour and 2 years later was still making $13/hour plus shift differential, weekend differential, etc.

I moved out of state and received a $4/hour raise.

What is the base pay in Bismarck now?
